February 9th 2011 : Feed me to the villains band video

The draft is well under way having sourced media from both the bands Facebook Page as with friends YouTube Channels.
The available media is however, turning out to be something of a pain in the neck, as I attempt lip sync'ing as with field option amendments.
Further more developing a mergance with standard inline editing as with dynamic compositions; this piece really should be within the
Large_Pudding : Relentless Video's catagory.

September 20th 2010 : [m2s] Hard Boiled completion

[m2s] Hard Boiled is in software terms at 'Alpha Stage'
I've just plopped on the final credits as with finishing any loose ends.
The final encoding has begun, however the desired bit rate is going to be something of a gigabyte issue.

Unfortunately; as previously stated, the film lacks in what I feel any substance. The lack of footage capture capability proved a lesson learnt.
Having reviewed other BC2 video's via 'you tube' however; I still consider [m2s] Hard Boiled a grade above the rest!
Considering the video is neither a self promoting hack fest, nor is it a plain cut-and-paste of successful kill clips.
Too many video's are being made with mundane action, sniper shots from afar over and over again. Seriously people!
Who wants to sit there for 5 minutes of their life to witness what they have already done?
Hopefully that is where I differ and that is where [m2s] Hard Boiled shall bring not only the action of the game, but substance to the compiled media.

[m2s] Hard Boiled my most antagonizing of productions... finally comes to a close.

September 16th 2010 : [m2s] Hard Boiled Teaser deployment

Ok, so I got a little frustrated with being unable to gather additional footage for [m2s] Hard Boiled and so started work on a teaser video for the production.
Within a matter of only hours, I have compiled a simple insight into the movie and subsequently uploaded to all relevent Social Networks.
The [m2s] Hard Boiled Teaser is available via YouTube LargePuddingUK, FaceBook Large_Pudding, YouTube ukm2sclan, as well as Large_Pudding TwitVid.

September 15th 2010 : [m2s] Hard Boiled progression

A little tinker here, tweak there and remove the niggle from there and [m2s] Hard Boiled is approximately 50% done.
Disregarding general directions to build a rough draft first; I like to build my video's in scenes and optimize each as I go along.
In doing so I've begun tweaking individual clips with audio glitches as well as numerous video layers to begin constructing a more dynamic video.
Some scenes have therefore become redundant, however they shall have there place at some point.
So far so good with testing a compiled video on youtube via LargePuddingUK. The bit rate has something of a bug, loosing quality during the conversion,
however I feel confident this can be overcome.

September 11th 2010 : [m2s] Hard Boiled inception

[m2s] Hard Boiled is now in full swing!
As with all of the [m2s] video's, Hard Boiled been recorded on the [m2s] UK Gaming Clan servers along side [m2s] Clan members as with the [GP] Clan Alliance.
I am however, running into many difficulty's during this production, as there is simply so much constantly going on. For example;
there is a constant server status update, logs displaying kills and deaths, as with the chat status and point system.
To get any footage whilst in-game without a huge message such as "We have lost position Alpha" is quite simply a pain in the ars!

I have never truly appreciated the complexity of the .demo recording that the BF2 (Battlefield 2) game engine used until now.
Being able to manually configure camera paths, moving from player, changing angle and so forth. The possibility's were endless,
however BC2 (Bad Company 2) with it's static in-game console based camera is proving to be more of a jobs worth than anything I have done before!

Moan over; it is getting there though. I'm taking a more production value approach to this video rather than that of
[m2s] Overlord to which in my opinion was a visually stunning piece of work.

A small viral campaign has been initiated with several prop posters having been produced.
These are slowly being fed through the social networks to try and stir a little attention.
